A Message from Principal Clauson
Welcome Saltar’s Point Students and Families!
On behalf of all of us at Saltar’s Point, I would like to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. As I begin my 11th year as principal at Saltar’s Point, I believe that our staff have gone above and beyond to create the best learning environment while focusing on rigorous academic standards, individualized instruction and social emotional wellbeing. In addition, we continue to focus on maintain the safest school environment for our staff and students.
Our staff believes that we need to educate the whole student. While continuing to focus on rigorous academics, we have placed and emphasis on social emotional learning and self-regulation strategies. We use the Zones of Regulation as a framework to foster self-regulation and emotional control. ZONES uses a common vocabulary that all of our students practice on a daily basis.
In helping us to continually improve, we welcome any feedback from our stake holders. Please feel free to contact our staff at any time. We strive to respond to phone calls and emails within 24 hours.
